Harmon Kardon SBR-1000 First Blu-Ray Disc Player

Harmon Kardon has joined the Blu-ray bandwagon with its first Blu-ray player, known as the SBR-1000. It will come with standard Blu-ray player specifications in its class including, BD-Live and Bonus View capabilities for online content, advanced audio codec support, 1080 / 24p playback, and USB ports for DiVX and JPEG display. Moreover, the BDP 10 also have HDMI 1.3a, Ethernet, coaxial and optical audio outputs plus good old two-channel analog audio outputs. The BDP 10 has only been formally announced for Europe, where it will retail for an estimated €700 (around $940) each. As for the rest of the world, we will just have to wait until later this month.
