Samsung unveiled the 1st Android smartphone for Corby Series in Italy called Samsung I5500 Corby. It has 2.8-inch touchscreen TFT LCD display with 320×240 pixel QVGA, bluetooth, wifi 802.11 b/g and 100MB internal storage. Samsung I5500 Corby smartphone also equipped with GPS, microSD card slot up to 16GB (include 1GB memory card), accelerometer, 2M pixel camera and 1200 mAh battery. It’s powered by 600MHz processor and running on Android 2.1 operating system.The network support GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and 3G (HSDPA 7.2 Mbps) UMTS/HSDPA 900/1200 MHz. The dimension is 56×108×12.3 mm with weight 102grams and will be sale for 199 EUR.
